Privacy Policy

Who is responsible for which data

We are responsible for your Felloby account information and, for creators, your plan and billing information.

Inside a community, the creator decides what to ask members, who can see which spaces, and how members' answers and membership details are used. We store and process that information for the creator so the community can work. If you have a question about how a community uses your information, ask its creator first. We can help if you can't reach them.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and a securely hashed version of your password (we never store the password itself).
• Your profile: anything you choose to add, such as a photo link, bio, location and links.
• Community activity: the communities you join or run and your role in them, your answers to a community's sign-up form, and your posts, comments, chat messages, event replies and course progress.
• Member payments: a creator's paywall may ask you to pay through GCash, HitPay, PayMongo, PayPal or another method they choose. We keep a record of the membership you chose and its status, and any payment reference or proof you send, but not your card or account details.
• Requests: cancellation or refund requests you send a creator through Felloby, and any note you add.
• Creator plans: your plan and, if you subscribe with PayPal, the PayPal subscription ID, its status and billing dates so we can keep your plan active. PayPal collects your card or account details directly, and we never see them.
• Emails sent: when Felloby sends an email, such as a welcome email or a new-member note to a creator, our email provider keeps the recipient address, the type of email and when it was sent.
• Technical logs: our hosting and database providers keep short-lived logs, including IP address, browser type and the time of each request, to keep Felloby secure and fix problems.

We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and we do not sell or rent personal information.

Cookies and storage on your device

• Sign-in cookies keep you signed in and your session secure. They are required for Felloby to work.
• Videos and other content that creators link from services such as YouTube, Vimeo or Google Drive load from those services, which may set their own cookies under their own policies.

How we use information

• To run Felloby: sign you in, show each community to the people allowed to see it, and keep your posts, courses and events in sync.
• To start, renew and end creator plans, and to check payments.
• To send account and community emails, such as welcome emails, plan notices, and new-member notes to creators.
• To answer your questions and give support.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse such as spam and fraud, and fix problems.

Who can see it

• Other members of a community can see your name, profile, and what you post in the spaces they can open.
• The community's creator, admins and moderators can also see your email address, sign-up answers, membership and payment status, and requests you send them.
• Other communities can't see any of this. Joining one community doesn't share your details with another.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who process data only to run Felloby:

• Supabase stores Felloby's database and handles sign-in.
• Vercel hosts the website.
• PayPal processes payments for creator plans.
• Resend delivers Felloby's emails.
• Cloudflare runs the domain name system for remotebydesigns.com.
• Google Fonts supplies the font a creator picks for their community, so your browser contacts Google's servers when those pages load.

When you pay a creator with GCash, HitPay, PayMongo, PayPal or another app, that company's own privacy policy applies, along with the creator's.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or security of our users or the public.

Where data is stored

Felloby's database and website run in Tokyo, Japan, and some of our providers are based in other countries, so your data is stored and processed outside the Philippines. We rely on our providers' security and data protection commitments for those transfers.

How long we keep it

• Your account and content are kept until you delete them or ask us to delete your account.
• When a creator's plan ends, their communities are kept so they can come back. We will email the creator before deleting a community.
• When your account is deleted, it is removed from the live database within 30 days. Backups kept for recovery may hold a copy for a short time after that.
• Plan billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting laws require.

Your choices and rights

• You can view and change most of your profile in Felloby at any time.
• To delete your account, email felloby@remotebydesigns.com from the email address on your account.
• Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 and similar laws elsewhere, you may have the right to be informed, to access, correct or delete your data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to file a complaint. In the Philippines, complaints can go to the National Privacy Commission. To use any of these rights, email us at the address below.
• For information you gave a community, such as sign-up answers, you can also ask that community's creator.

Security

Felloby uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and database rules that stop people from opening communities and spaces they don't belong to. No online service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong password that you don't use elsewhere. If a breach ever puts your information at risk, we will tell you and the National Privacy Commission as the law requires.

Children

Felloby is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Members under 18 need a parent's or guardian's permission to join a community. If you think a child has given us their details without that permission, email us and we will remove them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. For significant changes we will let you know in Felloby or by email before they take effect.
